Velez Rubio and Velez Blanco – Velez Rubio has a museum and a lovely Baroque church. Velez Blanco has an amazing Renaissance Castle built on the remains of the Moorish Alcazaba. The photo on the right shows Velez Blanco's hilltop castle.

Oasys – At Tabernas, this park is home to a swimming pool with slide, a zoo and Mini Hollywood with its cowboy stunt shows and film sets.
