Almeria is the eastern most province of Andalucia and borders in the east with the region of Murcia. It is not as well known as Malaga Province (the Costa del Sol) and Granada Province, but it's a beautiful province with much to offer both tourists and those looking for a home in the sun.

Almeria City – The location of the province's international airport, Almeria City is sometimes referred to as a “hidden gem” or “rough diamond” because it is a lovely city which many people are not aware of. The city boasts a beautiful coastline, the Alcazaba, cathedral, museums, shops and, of course, the sun!
- The Costa de Almeria - Almeria's coast varies from the protected wild beaches of the Cabo de Gata, through the tourist hotspots of Mojacar Playa and Vera, to the trendy Agua Amarga.
- Sun – Almeria boasts over 3,000 hours of sunshine a year! Perfect for sunseekers and outdoor types.
- Desert – Tabernas Desert, location of “Lawrence of Arabia” and many Spaghetti Westerns can be found in Almeria.
- The Cabo de Gata – This Parque Natural has wild, unspoilt coastline, pretty fishing villages (such as San Jose ), wildlife and stunning beaches.
- Beautiful mountain ranges – Dotted with pretty, white pueblos.
- Attractive resorts – Aqua Amarga attracts tourists and Madrid's trendy set; Mojacar Pueblo is a picturesque hillside village; and Vera and Roquetas de Mar are seaside resorts popular with tourists.
- Los Velez – The historic towns of Velez Blanco and Velez Rubio.
