By Air
Most people will fly to the fourth largest airport in the region, the International Airport of Almeria (LEI) that is located around eight kilometres from the capital, Almeria, and is clearly signposted off the main A7 motorway.
Other choices are Murcia Airport, at San Javier, and Granada Airport.

By Train

By Bus or Taxi
Buses are available within the cities, and cost approximately 1 Euro per ride, or you can buy 10 rides at a time for extra savings on a Bonobus card at any tobacco shop. Taxis are also freely available at airports and in the main towns and cities.
Rental Cars
Rental cars are highly recommended in the Costa de Almeria, if your plan is to travel town-to-town, site-to-site. There are many rental car companies based around Almeria Airport. From our experience, easycar.com

The E15/A-7 Mediterranean Autovia (coastal motorway) and A-92 are the major roads in this region. However, there are quite a few accidents on these roads, so be sure to drive safely and make sure that you're fully insured.
