Cadiz Province has the highest number of Blue Flag beaches of all European provinces and is known for the quality and beauty of its beaches. Many of its beaches are unspoilt by tourism and are close to nature reserves. The beaches around Tarifa are great for windsurfing and kitesurfing because of the wind from the Strait of Gibraltar.
