Cadiz borders with the Doñana National Park which is famous for its wildlife which includes the Iberian Lynx, the Spanish Imperial Eagle, the Egyptian Mongoose, wild boar and different types of deer.

The Cadiz province is also home to its own nature reserves:-

Flamingo

  • Bahia de Cadiz Natural Park – Great for birdwatching and seeing the Sea Eagle, Flamingo and other sea birds.

  • La Breña y Marismas del Barbate Natural Park – Good for birdwatching, botany and archaeology.

  • Los Alcornocales Natural Park – See Cork Oak trees, a variety of birds including vultures, eagles, owls and the Goshawk, animals such as wild boar, wild cat and deer, interesting flora and archaeology.

  • Sierra de Grazalema – See limestone ravines, Spanish Fir trees, eagles including the Golden Eagle and Imperial Eagle, and a wide variety of flora and fauna.

  • Strait of Gibraltar Natural Park or Litoral Park – A marine and terrestrial park with many sea mammals and migratory birds.

The province of Cadiz also has many natural monuments and natural sites.
