Getting to Cordoba
By Air
Cordoba Airport is only 6 kilometres outside the city, but it’s a
relatively small airport. If you can get a direct or connecting flight
flying through the major international airports of Seville, Malaga, or
Gibraltar you’ll be able to easily get a taxi or bus straight to your
hotel.
If you cannot get a direct flight to Cordoba, flying to any of these
major cities and taking either the train, autobus, or rental car is
possible. The Ave high speed train means that you can reach Cordoba
from Madrid in about 90 minutes and in around 30 minutes from Seville.
You can also reach Cordoba from Malaga in around 2 hours, using a
normal train.

By Car
A rental car is not recommended, as once you get into Cordoba
walking, using taxis, and the buses are the best option within the city
of Cordoba. However, if you choose to do so, simply take the N-IV
highway from Madrid or Seville (4 hours, and 1 hour respectively) or
the N-311 highway from Malaga is approximately a 2-hour journey.
By Train
The Spanish National Railways Network (R.E.N.F.E.) can easily
accommodate you from any of the major airports or Spanish cities. Many
travellers enjoy taking the train ride between Andalucian cities as it
offers a chance to see the environs without risking road travel.
