Costa del Sol Car Hire

If you intend to explore the Costa del Sol, you will need to hire a car. A hire car will give you the freedom and ability to make the most of your holiday and travel between different areas, as well as providing you with airport transport.

To hire a car, you can either book through your travel company or airline, or shop around on the Internet.

Malaga Airport is a very large and popular airport, so there is plenty of choice of car hire companies. You can then use your car to reach your Costa del Sol accommodation and explore the coastal resorts using the N340 coastal road, a road that runs the length of the region and which connects all of the major towns and cities in the Costa del Sol. Just remember to hire one with aircon as the Costa del Sol weather can be rather hot!
